Kettlebell training is sweeping the nation - the secret is out! If you are looking to increase your strength, endurance, muscle tone, flexibility, and more, kettlebell training does it all. Unique from other weight training systems, the distribution of the weight of the bell on the forearm allows for large, dynamic, and explosive movements with very little risk of injury.  Having the weight centered creates better form during the exercises.  The Maxbells system of movements targets the small, stabilizing muscles that are often hard to specifically exercise, but you'll still feel the burn in your larger ones, too!  By strengthening the minute muscles, everyday strain is taken off of larger ones more commonly used, and functional endurance goes up tremendously.  Alongside the gains in strength and endurance, our training's variety of exercises encourage flexibilty, coaxing muscles to lengthen and stretch.  At the risk of sounding like selling snake oil, our instructors can truly tailor workouts to accomplish nearly any of your fitness goals.

Steve Maxwell and John Disimone, certified RKC instructors and founders of the Maxbells Kettlebell certification, will help you set and achieve goals no matter what your fitness level is. Please feel free to browse through our website to get a better understanding of who we are and what we can do for you!

For Women

There is a common misunderstanding among women that kettlebells aren't suitable for them because of their rough appearance and the fact they are weights, or they may view them as slightly intimidating.  This first impression couldn't be more wrong.  More and more women across the country are realizing that kettlebells are one of the most efficient body sculpting tools they could hope to come across.  All of our classes are a mere half an hour long, yet in that short time leave you feeling energized and stronger.  With proper use, the dynamic qualities of the bells and the customization and care of our instructors can create beautiful, finely-tuned results in a remarkably short amount of time.

For Law Enforcement

In law enforcement, your body is really the most important tool for the job.  Proper conditioning of this tool is essential to survival when faced with the day-to-day treacheries of the streets.  The ideology of kettlebell training is tailor-made for this type of conditioning.  Kettlebells can utilize the explosive power of plyometrics and strength training of weights while creating a completely rounded workout leaving your muscles stretched and supple as they are conditioned, all in the same half hour session.  The unique shape of the bells and the movements of the Maxbells program create functional strength and endurance for days by developing minute stabilizing muscles.  This may be the difference that apprehends a perpetrator or saves yours or someone else's life.  We have classes throughout the day in order to accomodate any schedule.

For Military

If our freedom is in your hands, why not make them the strongest hands possible?  Similar to law enforcement, the military man or woman's life depends upon their physical abilities.  Kettlebell training has long been the staple of strength and conditioning of Russia's military groups.  More recently, it has been adopted and embraced by the elite ranks of the United States military as well.  A large portion of RKC instructors are affiliated with notable elite military and government organizations.  Maxbells founder Steve Maxwell has been sought out to work with various US Government agencies, including DEA, Secret Service, and FBI, and his system reflects the demands of those agencies.
